Introduction

Welcome to the website for the UK Society for Biomaterials.

We hope this will become a forum not just for information about the society and our annual conference but also to provide a wide range of information about the biomaterials community in the UK.

This year's annual conference will take place at The University of Ulster, Jordanstown campus on the 2nd and 3rd July 2009.

At each annual conference in addition to best postgraduate poster and oral presentations, we award a Presidents Prize and Biocompatibles Endowed Prize. The Presidents Prize aims to recognise outstanding contributions to the UK Biomaterials field. The Biocompatibles Endowed Prize recognises researchers with an industrial link to their research who have made significant contributions to the UK Biomaterials field.
