Due to Covid-19 the UKSB decided not to host an annual conference in 2020. We had planned several events for our members and continue to work with the community during these times. WBC2020 has been postponed until Dec, and the TERMIS-EU event has been put back a few years.
However, a virtual conference was jointly hosted by UKSB and the UKs Centres of Doctoral Training (CDTs) working closely in the field of regenerate medicine. This event was live 24-25th June 2020 with over 200 attendees from academia and industry. We hosted presentations via zoom meetings and held poster sessions via the UKSB website platform. This enabled comments and interaction of poster presenters, with poster flashes and topic discussions helping to support this. Posters were hosted on the website for 2 weeks following the conference to receive feedback comments and establish networking.
