Benefits
Members of the UKSB can participate fully in all the activities of the Society. This includes standing for council, voting at the business meeting and obtaining reduced registration fees for scientific meetings.
Members receive regular emails for jobs, upcoming meetings and conferences.
Who can join?
Anybody with an interest in biomaterials research. This includes medical materials science, biosensors, biomechanics, biocompatibility, tissue engineering, and many other subjects. Indeed, feedback to the joint working party indicated that the strength of our community lay in its diversity and that therefore people of all specialties should join. Academics, clinicians and the biomaterials industry are encouraged to join and help to develop the subject of biomaterials in the UK.
How do I join?
Its very easy. Please fill out and return the membership form. We are keen to attract new members and hope that the network and biomaterials community, both in the UK and linked with the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB), will help progress research and clinically relevant materials for future healthcare.
