If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms will record your IP address and membership details (if available). Your IP address may be used to block access to certain functions on the site if you abuse the facility…

As a member of the UKSB some of your name and registered email address will be shared with conference organisers. This information will be used to validate your membership of this society, and be used to offer you membership discounts with the conference.

For members and users of our website; we store personal information they provide by you in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
