ABSTRACTS ARE OPEN for the UK Society for Biomaterials Annual Conference 2026, on 9 – 10th July at the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston Park Hotel.
This year the event will be co-hosted by our EPSRC Network+ 4D Health Tech with the theme of Inclusive Innovation, including:
- Industrial Panel: open discussion about challenges and routes to translating biomaterials into commercial use.
- Inclusive Innovation Panel: how can we ensure the biomaterial technologies we develop fulfill all stakeholder needs?
- A live debate on whether we still need animal research
ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

The event promises to be a fantastic forum for early career researchers, academics, industry, clinicians, patients and students to come together and discuss the future of biomaterials within the UK.
We look forward to welcoming you all to the University of Birmingham in July. Please do feel free to share this opportunity amongst your networks in the UK and further afield.
